Women's Fragrances come in a variety of formulas ranging from EDT, EDP to Parfum. The difference between each being cost, ingredients, and duration of fragrance. Eau de toilettes are mainly water-based fragrances. These are the perfect light scent for daytime use. As this formula is dense in water content, the scent does not last very long and requires more reapplication. Eau de Parfums have water in the formula, however about half the amount as an EDT would have. EDPs last longer than an EDT fragrance will; they are more substantial in essential oils and flower; the base notes are more robust. Parfums are the longest lasting fragrance, as they are rich in oils. The base notes of a parfum are usually derived from strong ingredients such as citrus or wood.
