Dermalogica the brand was founded by Jane Wurwand, a dermatologist who noticed there was a great need for products clinical grade skin care products that could be used at home without the need for a prescription. She has since opened an educational center known as the, International Dermal Institute, which is considered the gold standard in skin therapy education.
