Color-Treated Hair Shampoo formulas protect and enhance your hair color. With time and washing, color-treated hair tends to become dull, loosing the luster that you see after glaze applications. Exposure to UV rays creates brassy tones and sometimes changes the tonality of your hair color. Color-treated hair shampoos help to prevent your hair from becoming dull, changing tone, or loosing its overall intensity.

Color preserving and enhancing shampoos create a barrier between your hair and environmental factors that can lead to dullness. They enhance your shine and protect your hair color from changing from one ash to the next. These shampoos are rich in moisture, replenishing your hair's moisture balance and protecting your hair from breakage. There are two types of color-treated hair shampoos. One type is a daily use formula that cleanses hair while protecting against dullness, dryness, and tone changes. The second type of color-treated hair shampoo is a toning shampoo. Toning shampoos act as a toner and help to enhance your hair color and eliminate brassy, yellow, or orange tones that develop from exposure to UV rays. Toning shampoos are not daily use shampoos. These are to be used in combination with your normal daily use color-treated hair shampoo. We suggest using your toning shampoo once or twice a month.

The perfect color-treated shampoo formula will enhance your hair color, protect your hair, and leave it feeling and looking as if you just stepped out of the salon.
